Without a gas interlock system, your kitchen could pose a health and safety risk to staff, and the general public. You could be fined, risk prosecution from the HSE or have your kitchen closed.
Gas Safe regulations and BS6173 require a gas interlock system to be fitted in all new commercial kitchens. And when replacing certain pieces of equipment in older kitchens, such as; a new extraction canopy or combi oven.
We can fit gas interlock systems, carry out necessary annual maintenance and provide emergency callouts.
How does an interlock device work?
An interlock device will monitor the airflow in your kitchen. If the airflow is unsafe or there is complete kitchen extract fan failure, the interlock will cut off the gas to the appliances, so they can’t be used.
Why TWO Services?
Reduce the disruption to your kitchen, with just one TWO Services team. We can carry out annual maintenance checks to your interlock systems during a regular equipment maintenance check. And if you need us in an emergency, our callout service can be there to get your kitchen up and running again.
